Our Core Values
Since Americopy was founded, all our employees have shared the roadmap, dreams and aspirations of where we’ve been, who we are and where we are going. None of this would be possible without each and every one of them sharing our core values. These Core Values are:
Commitment to the Long-Term Success of our Customer, our People and our Business.
Service to the Customer above all else.
Integrity in all of our Relationships.
C – “Commitment to the Long-Term Success of our Customers, People and our Business”
Commitment is being joined to our customers, connected to their needs and focused on their future endeavors. We’re committed to educating ourselves so that our customers feel confident they are in good hands. Our commitment to our community and to our vendors is a top priority. We have had the same copier/printer and mailing vendors since 1972 and 1981respectively. We have had the same leasing relationship since the early 1980’s. With that being said, anybody can dream it, but you’ll never see it if you aren’t committed to it.
S – “Service the Customer above all else.”
When we think of this, we reflect back on President Kennedy’s quote, “Ask not what your Country can do for you but ask what you can do for your Country!” It’s a great quote and it speaks so loudly in so many ways. It’s about service above self. Service has always been the backbone of our company. Examples include; driving 2 hours on a Saturday night to help a customer put a waste tank in so they can operate over the weekend; or taking a loaner after hours to keep a customer up and running; or replacing a machine when the need arises; it’s about helping a customer on the phone solve an issue in a timely manner. Yes. We still answer the phone with a live person when our customers call… It means we will be there for you. It’s about going on that difficult Service call or Sales call; or making that administrative call when you’re not sure it’s something you’ve perfected or have much experience with yet; but knowing in your heart that there are others depending on you; being that support mechanism to help others;and if you can’t assist, then you know which team member to connect with to resolve the issue. Most importantly, to follow through until the resolution has been fully achieved.
I – “Integrity in all of our Relationships”
Success will come and go, but Integrity is Forever.
Integrity has a couple of different meanings for us. The first is that we as a company and our employees are honest and have strong moral principles. We strive to do it right the first time and treat others as we would want to be treated.
The second is that we are undivided in our passion to treat our customers, co-workers, and vendors with respect and loyalty. Our departments communicate and work well together to make this a great company and make raving fans of our customers.
Outward means nothing, but inward Integrity is where it lies.
It’s about completing a job or a task even though no one is watching you. It’s quality that locks in our values. We do the work we were assigned. We live it every day – we do not compromise. We aren’t swayed by taking the crooked path in the road because we must never compromise Americopy’s reputation. We Define it; We Describe it; We Deliver it…..
